Silueta privacy policy

Silueta is a local app: it has no accounts, no cloud, and includes no ads or analytics. Your measurements, photos, goals and notes are stored only on your device. The only feature that can send data off the phone is the AI meal analysis, and only if you configure your own server.

1. Data controller

The controller for the app and this website is DIODE LOGIC SL, Spanish tax ID (NIF) B22434658, Avenida de Manoteras 24, planta 2, 28050 Madrid, Spain. Contact: support@diodelogic.com.

2. Data stored on your device

When you use the app, the following is saved on your device and nowhere else. We cannot see, access or recover it.

  • Body measurements, notes, goals and settings (units, enabled parts, language).
  • Progress photos, stored in the app’s private folder on your device. Deleting a photo also deletes its file.
  • The meal journal (date, time and free text).
  • Backups, PDF reports and timelapses you generate: they are created on the device and only leave it if you share them.

3. Permissions and device features

Camera
To take progress photos with the ghost overlay. Images are stored locally.
Photo gallery
Only when you choose to import existing photos.
Biometrics or device unlock
Only if you enable the app lock. The check is performed by the operating system; the app never sees your fingerprint or passcode.
Notifications
Only if you enable the weekly measurement reminder.

4. Third-party services

The external services involved, and with which data, are these:

None by default
Silueta integrates no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services.
Meal analysis server (optional)
If you configure the address of your own analysis server in the app, the text of the journal entry you analyze is sent to that server. With no server configured, nothing is sent. You choose and control that server.

6. Retention and deletion

Delete measurements, photos or whole days from the app, or uninstall it to remove all data. Backups you exported are wherever you saved them. We keep no copy of anything.

7. Your rights

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to support@diodelogic.com. Since the app’s data is stored on your device, in practice you exercise them directly from the app. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

8. Children

Silueta is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app’s third-party services, please contact us.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, for example because a new feature uses a new service, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. Relevant changes will also be announced inside the app.
