What it does
Four countries, one source
Open data from the French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese governments, normalized into a single fuel taxonomy without losing the original names. About 46,000 stations, updated daily.
Verified locations
Every station is matched against OpenStreetMap points of interest, so the pin is where the station actually is.
The map answers
Every marker is coloured by the price of your chosen fuel relative to the country median: green is cheap, red is expensive, with the price visible without tapping anything.
Nearby and along a route
A list around you sortable by distance or price, and station search along a route.
History and indicators
Price history per station and, per country and fuel, median, most common price, range and daily trend.
Useful detail
Prices per fuel with the source’s original name, services, directions and the estimated cost of filling up your vehicle.
Privacy
What data it uses
- No account. Your preferences (fuel, filters, vehicle) are stored on your device.
- Your location is sent to our server only to answer “near me” or a route, and is never linked to a person.
- Maps, routing and place search go through our server: third-party services never see your IP.
- No ads and no analytics.

Where do the prices come from?
From the open-data portals of the French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese governments. They are imported every day and the change history is kept.
Why does a price differ from the one at the station?
Each country publishes its data at a different cadence and stations report changes with some delay. We show the last update date of every price.
Do I need an account?
No. Carbura has no accounts and no sign-up.
What does it do with my location?
If you enable it, it is used to centre the map and compute the nearest stations. The query reaches our server with the coordinates, is answered, and is not stored linked to you.
When will it be available?
The data service already runs; the web and mobile apps are in development. The web app will come first.
