Scan history
Every scan is saved in a local database so you can reopen, re-run or delete it. Interrupted scans are flagged.

Stop the scan whenever you want and keep the partial results.
Privacy
What data it uses
- The app never connects to the internet.
- It stores only summaries on your computer: the biggest files and totals per type, never the full inventory.
- It deletes or modifies nothing: it only shows.

Frequently asked questions
Does it delete files?
No. Scanner only shows where the space went. Deleting is your decision, from Finder or the file explorer.
Why do I see access errors on macOS?
To scan the whole disk, macOS requires granting the app “Full Disk Access” in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Without it, protected folders count as errors and everything else is scanned anyway.
What does the app store?
A summary of every scan: date, folder, totals, the biggest files and totals per extension. About a thousand small rows per scan, in a local database.
Do I need Java?
No. The installers bundle everything needed.
